KIOSK & Portwell
Posiflex Technology Inc. acquired KIOSK Information Systems, the world leader in self-service solutions, and Portwell, worldwide supplier of specialty computing applications. KIOSK comes with 25 years’ experience in the self service industry, serving over 10 key vertical markets, providing niche expertise in both platform creation and volume deployment support. Portwell's extensive product portfolio includes single-board computers, embedded computers, specialty computer platforms, rackmount computers, communication appliances, and human-machine interfaces.
North American Corporate Office — NACO
As a result of growth and recent acquisitions, Posiflex Technology Inc. launched a North American Corporate Office (NACO) — a virtual headquarters of visionary executives drawn from its successful acquisitions of KIOSK Information Systems (KIOSK) and Portwell, as well as from its North American branch, Posiflex Business Machines (PBM). NACO was designed to drive strategic solution synergy from the combined efforts of KIOSK, Portwell and Posiflex and enrich product and service offerings in the self-service, POS and embedded computing markets.
Heading the NACO team are: Allen Lee, CEO of Portwell, as Managing Director; Tom Weaver, former CEO of KIOSK, as Chief Strategy Officer; and Doyle Ledford, VP of Sales & Marketing at Posiflex Business Machines, as Director of Channels. In addition to joining NACO, Mr. Lee and Mr. Ledford maintain their existing roles within their respective organizations.
The product and service technology offerings built out by NACO will be a continually evolving effort. The three companies each hold respected market leadership positions in key vertical markets including hospitality, retail, government, fintech, industrial automation, medical/healthcare, and network/communication. NACO is in place to facilitate the widest and highest value customer solution offerings within these verticals, while simultaneously penetrating new strategic growth segments.
